Lilly was rescued by the donor from a pet shop where they were so scared of her they would not feed or clean her on a regular basis. She is a very sweet bird.

Leo (middle) was purchased from a pet shop by the donor to get him out of an abusive situation. The pet shop owner would bang a stick on the side of the cage and say "see how mean he is". She purchased him and then called us to see if he could reside at the sanctuary. He is also a very sweet bird and loves cuddle time.

Gracie & Bungee (left). Gracie came to us from a wonderful person in New Mexico who saved her from being destroyed by a breeder because "she did not produce eggs anymore and was not worth feeding".
