We had the opportunity to meet some great people from fellow parrot rescue and sanctuary Groups.

The 25 Un-Adoptable Homeless Parrots We Have Been Expecting Arrived 11/9/07  From New Mexico.

A Big Thank You To Midge And Daina Of National Parrot Rescue And Preservation Federation For Being On Hand To Take In All The Parrots And To Our Staff, Including Jill Donaho Our Volunteer.

The Birds That Have Arrived Needing Special Care Are:

Parrot Jungle Miami Where We Went To Get Ideas For Our Project

 

We Are In The Design Process Of An Exotic Bird Garden Which Will Be Facing A One Acre Pond Located On The Property.

We Will Have Large Outdoor Flight Cages Along With Tropical Plantings In And Around The Flights. We Want To Make It As Comfortable And Natural As Possible For Our Residents. We would also like to thank Hannah Bailey and Matt Schmit of the Houston Zoo for allowing us to tour all the bird enclosures where we got a lot of good  ideas for our project.
